Busch Responds to Fans, Calls Out Media on Twitter After Another Difficult Day
Driver history would repeat itself at Watkins Glen International on Sunday in the I Love NY 355 for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski made contact on Lap 45, approaching the inner-loop, while fighting for the same real estate. Both would spin and head to pit road for service.
Busch made his displeasure known to his crew — and fans listening.
“Coming to you, four tires,” Busch said. “You better keep me away from that (expletive) after the race. I will kill that (expletive).”
Busch and Keselowski would salvage seventh and 15th place respectively.
Post-race, Busch engaged with loyalists and detractors.
Kyle Busch has been strong week-after-week during the 2017 season, but has struggled to close deals.
He and the No. 18 team head to Michigan International Speedway next weekend, where he’s led a total of 219 career laps and finished seventh in the spring race.
