Kyle Larson Comes Up Big in Knoxville Nationals

Kyle Larson has had a very good season in NASCAR, but he’s had an even better one on dirt tracks across the country.

Wednesday night at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, Larson was victorious again, winning the Toyota Qualifying Night race at the 57th Annual 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals, the most prestigious sprint car race of the year.

The big question now is will Larson race there Saturday night in the main event?

This weekend, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is at Michigan International Speedway, where Larson has won the last two Cup races in his Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet. In fact, Larson’s only other Cup victory is at Auto Club Speedway, which like MIS is a 2-mile track.

So certainly, Larson and Ganassi want to win at MIS for the third straight race.

Then again, the Knoxville Nationals are kind of a big deal.

There’s even a hashtag: #LetKyleRace.
