RSS Racing Expands Involvement in XFINITY Series
After experiencing success last year with Ryan Sieg, RSS Racing is set to step it up another notch in 2018, entering three cars on a weekly basis.
Sieg will once again be behind the wheel of the No. 39 entry for the fifth straight year, after placing 15th in the year-end driver rankings last year.
“It’s great to return to the XFINITY Series in 2018 for the full schedule. It’s been a busy winter preparing three cars for Daytona but I’m looking forward to getting to Daytona and seeing where we stack up,” commented Sieg.
Jeff Green has joined the Georgia-based organization to drive the No. 38 car, following a season-best 10th-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway. The veteran has 16 career victories on his resume, including a series championship in 2000.
RSS Racing did not confirm the name of the third driver, saying that “has not been determined.” They also stated that “sponsor announcements for the team are forthcoming.” Kevin Starland is set to serve as the competition director.
